The title of the most popular browser in Latvia is taken by Google Chrome

The most popular browser in selected countries in Europe, per Gemius Global report, is Google Chrome.

In each of the 12 European countries analysed, internet users view the greatest number of websites using the Chrome browser. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Chrome Mobile came in second.

Even though the scope of the countries analysed is not too broad — Gemius looked at Slovenia, Latvia, Belarus, Croatia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Estonia, Russia and Poland this time — it is still interesting how Latvia comes out on top.

The largest percentage of views on domestic websites between all mentioned countries is observed in Latvia — it is about half of all vews: peaking at 49%. The runner-up is Mozilla Firedox which amounts for 24%, about a quarter of all views. The 9% of the pie belong to the good old Internet Explorer.
