FIBA-endorsed 3×3 Basketball Championship to be held
The Latvian Championship tournament of 3×3 format will be hosted by the Capital for the 4th time on August 1 thru 2 just beneath the Freedom Monument.
The local championship is part of the FIBA EuroTour and is organised by Latvian Basketball Association.
If you got a team of 3 ready, make sure to sign up on 3×3 Planet until July 24. The contest will be held in 9 age groups.
Each registered participant will receive a 3×3 reversible game jersey to play the games in, drinking water and an invitation to one of the EuroBasket 2015 Group D games in Arena Riga. How cool is that?
During both 3×3 Championship days, a qualification round of U18 European Championship for both young men and young women will also be held.
Various other contests and entertainment activities are planned throughout the weekend.
