Latvia National men basketball team set to play nine preparation games before the European Championship, five of them will be held in Riga. One of them will be against the famous rivalry Lithuania.
The first two games will be against Finland on the 27th and the 29th of July, played in Tampere, the third one against Georgia on the 4th of August in Klaipeda, but the first game at home will be against Poland on the 11th of August.
Possibly one of the most exciting games will be played against the famous rivalry Lithuania on the 19th of August in Riga. The ast time both teams played against each other was in “EuroBasket 2015” finals in Riga. Latvia lost 49:68, and Lithuanians became the vice-champions. Since Latvia has been trained by Bagatskis, both teams have met four times and in all of them Lithuanians won.
After this game, on the 20th Latvia will meet Romania, and the last game will be played against Czech Republic team on the 24th of August. All four games will be played in Riga.
